One of the earliest Bass pickups with a distinctive warm, simple thump.

Four long Alnico 5 poles as a single coil, with a relatively low output, delivering smooth low end and pleasant clarity in the top ends. Comes with vintage correct slightly staggered poles.

I have one of these on my 'keep' bass, with flatwound strings - Sounds like liquid Butter!
